Samsung's Genio Range Gets a New White Edition - Samsung Genio Slide
Following the successful launch of the original Samsung Genio Slide a new White edition has now been added to the range, this latest Samsung Genio model offers the very same technology, features and specifications as the previous black and red Samsung Genio Slide but swaps the colouring of both the slide out Qwerty keyboard and back cover for a new white finish.
With red coloured mobile phones not being nearly as popular as black, silver and white models the new White Samsung Genio Slide is sure to appeal to a far wider audience, the fact that it houses a full slide out keyboard has attracted both those people that like to send lots of text messages as well as those that regularly update their social networking website profiles by offering quick and easy text input via the physical keys rather than using an on-screen touch keyboard.
Features of the Samsung Genio Slide include a 3.2 mega pixel camera, WiFi, an expandable memory up to a large 16GB, webmail support, multimedia player, 3G internet access and support for multiple social networking websites.
Joining the Genio range the B5310 Silde is the most advanced of the three models on offer, the original Samsung Genio Touch offers a full touch screen with a 2.0 mega pixel camera whilst the more recent Samsung Genio Qwerty incorporates a front facing Qwerty keypad.
One the the unique selling points of the Samsung Genio range of mobile phones is their ability to change colour, consumers can buy Genio back covers known as 'Fashion Jackets' to snap onto their phone in a range of different colour schemes including white, pink, orange, yellow and black.
As mid-ranged handset the Samsung Genio Slide is ideal for those looking for a Qwerty phone on a budget, incorporating important connectivity features such as fast internet access, Bluetooth and WiFi support this affordable phone is a great alternative to the more expensive top-end models.
Competition against the Genio Slide come sin the form of other handsets offering a slide out Qwerty keyboard, the most notable has to be the Motorola Milestone Android phone which although demands a higher price tag does offer better image capture and a faster processor, others include the LG GW620 which is also an Android powered handset, the Nokia N97 Mini, Nokia N900, Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro and Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini Pro.
The most direct rival to the Samsung Genio Slide is without doubt the LG GW520 which although has now been around for some time more than competes against the Genio Slide's feature set.
The new White Samsung Genio Slide is expected to be released on both Pay As You Go and pay monthly contract deals by third party retailers over the coming weeks.
