I finally updated the layout to the site and cleaned some stuff up. I am still working on trying to get the header to display a flash file so that I can create a menu using flash. If anyone has any idea on how to go about doing this please let me know.
Anyway, here are a couple more sketches from the old sketchbook. hopefully sometime I will get some new stuff up, but for now its still some old stuff. I think that both of these sketches were done while I should have been taking in class.

I need to get some Christmas cards done, seeing as its already December 11. The Christmas Cards will most-likely turn into Christmas Emails. But Regardless Of what Happens, I need a to get St. Nick ready to go. For First I came up with a concept for Santa.

Then I had to come up with a rough sketch of what St. Nick was going to look like:

Then, based on that sketch I created lines that I could take into illustrator and create paths that could be filled in.
Finally, after creating lines and fills in Illustrator I added texture and shadows in Photoshop. The final product is still on the way but this is what I have gotten done so far.

Here are some more old sketches. Im working slowly on scanning newer stuff in, so it will be up soon. For now here are some more old sketches. These were done within the past few years. Just some cheesy sketches of an old guy and a putti type figure, that were done about a two years ago. I think the old guy was done for Drawing III back in my Junior year. Hopefully these posts will help you get an idea of what I have come from. I am going to try to post the boring (bad) sketches with some sketches that I feel are stronger and that I enjoy more.
Here is the old guy. It was just a random image that I found from a collection of images in a stock photography Magazine.

Here is a detailed view of the above image. I am sorry the images were taken with a digital camera, instead of using a scanner.

Here is the sketch of a putti, nothing to significant.

Hope you liked the update, I will hopefully be updating the site soon to make it easier to use and clean it up a bit. If you have any comments or suggestions just let me know. I will be posting some current stuff soon. Come back soon to see some more.
I used some sketches to produce a T-shirt for school a while ago. The two figures in the shirt had to be sketched in dark ink so that when scanned in and then taken into photoshop I could separate out the dark lines for an easy one color print for the shirt. The first two images are the sketches followed by the shirt that was printed.
and then the second figure:

Last here is the final shirt design that came from the two figures above.

Here are some Sketches from early in my sketchbook. I used the following materials for most all of the sketches:

Early Web Concept. Just messing around with landscapes and the idea of using them as a type of web layout.

I’ll Try and limit myself to three images per post. Any more could create a huge scrolling mess. I will also try to include as much about the images as possible and throw some new ones up with some of the old. The previous post has some new stuff, but this one is all old for now.
I have been wanting to start a blog for a while now, but one of my main problems was my inability to write. I really don’t enjoy writing at all and even if I did, I would have no idea what to write about. However, I love to sketch and produce art. I am constantly sketching and I figured I should at least do something useful with my sketches. So, I am going to start a blog consisting of mainly sketches. Im not the best at it but I have a strong passion for it, so if you have any critique or comments don’t hesitate to let me know. Ill try to update it as much as I can so subscribe, or just check back often to see if I have anything new. Ill take some time at the end of the day to day to post some stuff that I have done over the past year, and we’ll go from there. Here is a sketch of a client for a concert series poster.
And here is the design that came from the sketch:

Let me know what you think. I will be posting more sketches soon so come back to see more.
